Meet Chef and Owner Jeremie Burns . Growing up in California , Jeremie developed his love for cooking from his grandmother. After high school , he joined the United States Marine Corp . Where he did one tour in Iraq and Cuba . The Marines stationed him on the East Coast where he made friends and soon called the Eastern Shore his home . When he got out of the service, he cooked in several local restaurants in Salisbury,MD. He met his wife ,Jenny and they started their family adding their daughter Natalie . Jeremie went to Del-tech community college and completed his 2 year associates in culinary arts as well as taking classes in restaurant management and hospitality. After graduating, he started a small catering business and that’s where his fans asked for his amazing, mouth watering barbecue time and time again . Jeremie participates in Chefs for Habitat and March of Dimes events in our community as well as donating time to local Christian schools sharing his talent with many. Jeremie prides himself with quality , made from scratch sides and meats cooked slow and low seasoned with his house made blend . The opportunity to open Stoked and Smoked BBQ is a dream come true for him and his family . They can’t wait to see all the smiling faces and to be able to serve their friends that have asked for years for this to happen.
